01Agreement
In short
By using Monotion you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
These terms apply to monotion.app and the Monotion editor, run by the Monotion Team. By using the site you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy.
02The service
In short
Monotion is free, needs no account, and runs in your browser. Features may change over time.
Monotion lets you place your screenshots in animated phone mockups or animate a character, and export the result as MP4, WebM, GIF, or SVG. It is free to use and there is no account.
We may add, change, or remove templates and features, and we may pause or end the service. Because your work lives in your browser, keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.
03Your images
In short
You keep full ownership of the images you add. We never receive them.
The screenshots and images you add stay yours. They are processed only inside your browser, so we never receive, store, or use them, and we claim no rights over them.
Only add images you have the right to use. You are responsible for what you put into Monotion and for what you publish afterwards.
04What you make
In short
Your exports are yours to use, including for commercial work.
You may use the files you export from Monotion for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including client work, product pages, app store listings, social media, and portfolios. No credit is required.
The Monotion characters and mockup templates themselves remain ours. You may not resell or redistribute them as standalone assets, for example as a character pack or template kit, apart from the videos and images you create with them.
05Acceptable use
In short
Use Monotion lawfully and don't try to break it.
When using Monotion, you agree not to:
- Create content that is illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Disrupt the site, overload it on purpose, or try to get around its security.
- Present Monotion's characters or brand as your own product.
06Monotion's property
In short
The editor, characters, templates, and brand belong to the Monotion Team. Open-source parts keep their own licenses.
The Monotion name, logo, characters, mockup templates, and the editor itself belong to the Monotion Team, except for the open-source software listed under Open-source licenses, which remains under its own license.

Monotion is provided as it is. Browser storage can be lost, so keep copies of important work.
Monotion is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always work, that exports will suit every platform, or that your browser will keep your saved work. Browsers can clear stored data, especially in private windows or when storage runs low.
